On Wednesday May 7th, we joined together here at Family of God for a Celebration of Life for our beloved Pastor Jo. We were blessed with good weather and a full house, which we know she would have loved. Pastor Nathan Krause led a beautiful service and preached a wonderful sermon, most fitting for Pastor Jo. She would have been very proud of the beautiful words spoken by her children. The day was a true testament to the light and love Pastor Jo brought to all who knew her. She will be truly missed by all.
We extend our deepest gratitude to everyone in the congregation who helped with Pastor's farewell. The tables were overflowing with delicious desserts made by so many of our members. The ladies in the kitchen kept everything running smoothly, from start to finish. The gentlemen who volunteered with ushering, directing traffic, and moving chairs and tables were a huge help. The congregation truly came together to give Pastor a beautiful service and we know she was smiling down at all of us. It was a true labor of love from everyone, and we thank you!
Eternal rest grant unto her, O Lord, and let perpetual light shine upon her. May her soul and all the souls of the faithfully departed, through the mercy of God, rest in peace. Amen

At Road Trip VBS, your students will enjoy an interactive, energizing, Bible-based good time as they are on the go with God. They will become Travelers and discover how God is with them wherever they go!
Join us as we discover how God is with us everywhere we go! All children from age 3 (Must be potty-trained.) up to Grade 6 (Fall 2025) are welcomed to attend this VBS Bible Camp free-of-charge. Join us at Redeemer Lutheran Church, 2100 York Rd., Jamison, PA v1929 on July 14 through July 18, 2025 from 9:00 am to Noon.
